About the family
Bolbarfell is geometric lettering that has loosened its collar. The bowls are near-perfect circles hung off plain stems, the g drops a long tail, and the capitals are narrow and upright with a pointed M and sharp V and W. Letters sit close together, so words look chunky and cheerful rather than airy. It feels like the lettering on a between-the-wars poster or a tin toy box. Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold give a range from neat and thin to solid and round, all with the same bouncy rhythm.
