How it looks in use
Bastioneer
A bold geometric stencil where the cuts only bite in, never through. Crate paint, not a puzzle.

About the family
Bastioneer starts from a round geometric sans and cuts small wedge notches into the strokes, the way a stencil plate needs bridges. The trick is that the cuts only bite in from one side, so every letter stays in one piece and reads at a glance. The o is a clean circle, the a is single storey, the figures are notched like spray paint on steel. The four weights go from sturdy to very heavy. It is loud and practical, good on anything that should feel shipped, stamped or built. Set in text it gets busy fast, all those notches start to flicker.
