About the family
Adzengate is the kind of lettering you find painted on the wall at the start of a museum show. The letters are wide, the stems are heavy, and the strokes that join them are cut down to thin, sharp lines. Every serif is a crisp triangle, the A and V have flat tops, and the curves of C, G and S swing out wide. It is spaced loosely on purpose, so each letter stands on its own and a short word takes up a confident amount of room. Regular, Medium and SemiBold get steadily darker without losing that elegant contrast.
