About the family
Willowbroad is the wide, friendly member of the family. Letters stretch out with round bowls and low contrast, the stems bow a little, and the ends of the strokes curl into soft open hooks, so the whole thing feels hand-drawn and warm rather than grand. The lowercase has a small x-height and long curly descenders on g, p, q and y, and the figures are round and easy. Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold go from gentle to generous. It is at its best on titles that should feel cosy: a storybook, a bakery, a jar of jam with a handwritten look.
