About the family
Vigrelthorn is the dramatic one of the round gothic set. The pen is held so the curves fill in with thick black shades, then pinch to a hairline at the top and bottom of every bowl. The letters are wide, the ascenders end blunt, and the feet are cut flat, so the whole line sits steady even while the strokes swing hard. Capitals are bold and ceremonial, the C and G open like half moons, and the numbers keep the same calligraphic swell. Light keeps the hairlines crisp, and SemiBold turns each word into a solid dark ribbon. Give it room and it looks like it was written slowly on purpose.
