About the family
Vigrelmere is blackletter with the edges sanded off. The bowls are wide and round, the o is close to a true circle, and the strokes keep almost the same weight all the way round, so it reads easily even in a long line. Stems end in blunt flat feet, the capitals carry a few gentle hooks and curls, the M and W open out in round arches, and the figures are plain and friendly. Four weights, Light to SemiBold, run from a quiet menu board to a sturdy label. It gives a page an old world look without making anyone squint.
