About the family
Modwinslim builds letters from circles and bars and keeps one even line throughout. Everything is squeezed tall and narrow, the round letters become upright arches, and nothing carries a serif. The capitals stay simple and wide open, the ampersand is an unusual looped form, and the figures are tall and plain. Four weights go from a thin, elegant line to a sturdy SemiBold. It feels like lettering on a modernist building or an old gallery flyer. At display sizes it is crisp and distinctive. In paragraphs the tall narrow bowls blur together.
