How it looks in use
Vesperfell
A classic fraktur with broken bowls, curling capitals and a tall, narrow rhythm across the line.
Vesperfell
About the family
Vesperfell is fraktur in its traditional dress. The lowercase is tall and narrow, with bowls that break into a curve and a straight rather than running round, and the capitals open up with curled strokes and small hooks that give each one a bit of ceremony. Contrast is strong, with heavy downstrokes and thin connecting lines. The figures are solid and upright so a date still reads clearly. It comes in a single Regular weight, which is all a face like this needs. Use it for names and titles, give the capitals room, and it will make a label or a certificate feel like it has been around for a while.
