How it looks in use
Tweedelwyn
A sturdy, high contrast scotch roman with ball ends, bracketed serifs and crisp wide capitals.
Tweedelwyn
About the family
Tweedelwyn is a scotch roman with good posture. The stress is vertical, the horizontals thin to hairlines and the stems are firm, but the serifs are bracketed and solid rather than razor thin, so it prints well and holds up small. Look for the ball ends on a, c, f and r, the confident wide capitals and the classic double storey g. Light is refined, Regular and Medium make handsome text and headings, and SemiBold gives it a strong, dark color for titles. It feels trustworthy and a little old world.
