About the family
Tattingbroad is a wide, soft serif with the edges puffed and rounded, like a letter sewn onto a jacket and then washed a few times. The capitals are broad and sturdy, the serifs are short rounded feet, and the lowercase has a cheerful bounce: a curly g, a hooked y and a round, open a. Nothing is sharp. Three weights, Light, Regular and Medium, all look fairly solid, so even the lightest one holds up on a busy background. It is made for short, friendly words that should feel stitched on: a club name, a team badge or a label on a jar of something homemade.
