How it looks in use
Tarrowfell
A chunky flat brush hand with dry, ragged edges, in sturdy capitals and a big friendly lowercase.
Tarrowfell
About the family
Tarrowfell was written with a wide flat brush and not much patience for tidying up. Strokes start blunt, end in a quick flick, and keep the dry, scratchy edges a brush leaves when the ink runs low. The capitals are sturdy and slightly bouncy, and the lowercase is big and round with short ascenders, so words stay compact and loud. Light is still a hefty stroke; Regular lays on more ink and looks like it was painted with the whole arm. It reads like a hand lettered sign on a market stall, the kind that makes you stop and buy the peaches.
