How it looks in use
Scrivenslim
A tall, squeezed uncial with sharp contrast, the old round hand pulled into narrow elegant columns.

About the family
Scrivenslim takes the round shapes of the uncial hand and stretches them upward. The o becomes a standing oval, the m turns into three tight arches, and the counters close into narrow slots, but the manuscript feel stays clear in the round e, the hooked strokes and the curved capitals. The contrast is high, so the thins are fine and the stems do the work. Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold run from graceful to bold. It has a slightly theatrical, storybook air, the kind of face you expect on the spine of an old book about something magical.
