About the family
Rondeauslim is a condensed serif with a formal, unhurried air. The strokes are close to even, the bowls are round but narrow, and the serifs are small and neat, so the letters line up in tidy vertical rows. Each letter stands clearly apart from the next. There are six weights, from a fine Light to a solid Black, which makes it easy to build a whole label, from the small print to the big name, in one family. It looks like it belongs on a wine label from a small chateau, and it is equally at home on a bookshop sign.
