How it looks in use
Raspbroad
A wide, heavy serif with fat stems, hairline crossbars and big sharp wedges at every foot.
Raspbroad
About the family
Raspbroad takes a serif and stretches it until every letter is wider than it is tall. The stems are thick and black, the horizontals thin right down to hairlines, and the serifs are big solid wedges that end in sharp points. Bowls are broad and a little flat on the sides, and the shoulders are squared off, so a word in it looks like a row of heavy blocks with fine threads between them. It comes in one weight, Regular, and that weight already carries a lot of ink. Use it big and use it sparingly, and it will make almost anything look like an occasion.
