    About the family

Placketwick is built from one flat band of even width that never swells or thins. Instead of bending around a curve, the band folds, so every bowl and corner is made of short straight edges meeting at 45 degrees, and each fold leaves a small notch where the strip crosses over itself. The letters are clearly condensed and stand bolt upright, which gives a line of text the look of a tidy row of folded tickets. Light, Regular and Medium each keep the folds crisp; Medium is the one that holds up from across a room. It feels mechanical and friendly at once, like good packaging.
