About the family
Pikettwyn is a textura that has been given a little more room. The upright stems still march like a picket fence, each capped and footed with angled diamond cuts, but they sit farther apart, so the counters open up and the letters are easier to tell apart. The capitals are compact and decorative, the round letters are faceted rather than curved, and the figures are firm and upright. Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold go from a crisp pen line to a heavy black one. It gives that gothic feel to a label or heading without turning into a dark block.
