A wide, even blackletter with its curves cut into flat facets, like gothic lettering made with a thick marker.

About the family
Pikettbroad takes the gothic book hand and lets it spread out. The letters are wide and low, the strokes are close to even from top to bottom, and where a curve would be the stroke turns a corner instead, so the o and the round capitals come out faceted. Stems end in small angled cuts rather than fine hairlines, which keeps everything sturdy and readable even at modest sizes. The figures follow the same flat-cut logic. Light, Regular and Medium climb in weight without changing character. It reads as blackletter at a glance but sits on the page more like a friendly sign than a manuscript.
