How it looks in use
Paverwick
A friendly round sans laid in small square tiles, two tiles thick all the way round.

About the family
Paverwick is a normal width sans drawn as if it were laid in a hallway floor. Each stroke is two small tiles wide, a thin line of grout separates every tile, and where the curves turn the edges step gently instead of breaking. The shapes underneath are round and friendly, with open counters and a simple single story a and g, so it reads easily even though every letter is a little mosaic. Weight is even throughout, with no thick and thin. There is one weight, Regular. It is at its best at headline size where you can see the tiles.
