About the family
Paverdot is a broad, blocky sans built entirely from small square tiles. Every stroke is the same number of tiles thick, so there is no thick and thin at all, just a steady even weight. Curves turn in chunky steps, counters are open and squarish, and the edges are jagged in a friendly way, like a pixel font that went outside and got a tan. The letters are clearly extended, which makes them read well in short bursts. It comes in one weight, Regular. It feels right anywhere there is water, sunshine or a snack bar nearby.
