How it looks in use
Parchenthorn
A narrow, sharp calligraphic serif with crisp thick and thin strokes, flag tops and nimble slanted numbers.

About the family
Parchenthorn is the dressy one in the family. The letters are narrow and upright, strokes swing from firm downstrokes to thin hairlines, and the ascenders finish in small pointed flags like a quick turn of the pen. The Q drops a long tail, the g has a round lower loop, and the numbers slant forward like an italic, which gives dates a lively rhythm. Light and Regular feel like engraved stationery, Medium steadies them, and Black is fat and theatrical, great for a title that has to carry the whole poster.
