Nurnelblade
A spiky, lively blackletter with almond-shaped bowls, thorny spurs and feet cut at a slant.

About the family
Nurnelblade is a gothic hand with thorns on it. The bowls are pointed like almonds, curves end in needle-sharp spurs, and the feet are sliced off at an angle instead of finishing in curls. The capitals are open and readable, with short barbs that give them bite, and the lowercase moves with a quick, hand-cut energy. Contrast is moderate, so it holds up at smaller sizes better than many blackletters. Light, Regular and SemiBold go from a fine scratchy line to a solid dark one. It suits anything with a medieval edge: a market poster, a tabletop game or a label on a cellar door.
