About the family
Muddlethorn is a narrow poster face where nothing stays still. Strokes balloon fat and then pinch almost to nothing, stems bulge at the waist, and counters squeeze into small wobbly shapes. The letters are tall and packed close together, so a line of them looks like a crowd swaying to the same slow tune. The capitals are the loudest, the lowercase a little calmer. Four weights run from Light to SemiBold, and they all keep the rubbery, pooling contrast. It is made for the kind of poster you stare at until the words come into focus.
