About the family
Lunnetthorn is an upright roundhand with a lot of contrast. The downstrokes are fat and dark, the upstrokes and joins thin to hairlines, and the letters stand straight up at a normal width. Ascenders finish in small clubbed flags, the g, p, q and y drop into curly tails, and the capitals are narrow and upright with a few extra flicks. The numbers match the letters, with round swelling bowls. It comes in Light and Regular, and both look their best at a decent size, where the thin strokes have room to breathe. It feels like a perfume label or a very polite restaurant menu.
