About the family
Lacquobroad is deco lettering at full stretch. The round letters are close to perfect circles, the verticals are heavy and the diagonals and bars are drawn as fine hairlines, so the M, N, V and W look like they were cut from sheet brass. The lowercase keeps the same geometry, with a round single-storey a, a looping g and a short, wide x-height. The figures are wide and elegant. Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold go from a delicate engraving to a bold marquee. It has the glamour of a cocktail menu and the order of a train timetable, and it never tries to be quiet.
