About the family
Kreidothorn is the lettering on the board outside a bakery, done by someone with a fast hand and a good eye. Strokes swell where the chalk pressed and thin out where it lifted, so the letters have a lively rhythm, and the grainy edges keep that powdery feel. The capitals are simple and open, the lowercase is round and upright with a single-storey g, and the figures have the same quick confidence. Light, Regular and SemiBold take it from a light sketch to a bold scrawl. It is informal without being messy, which is exactly what you want from a sign you only glance at on the way past.
