How it looks in use
Flartoblade
A high-contrast flared face with fine thins and dark stems, halfway between a didone and a glyphic.
Flartoblade
About the family
Flartoblade has the sharp contrast of a fashion serif but almost none of the serifs. Stems are heavy, thins are fine, and strokes end in small flares instead of brackets and feet. Capitals are classically proportioned, the lowercase is compact with a small-bowled g, and the whole face has a polished, magazine-cover poise. Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold step up evenly, from a fine, airy Light to a Bold with real punch. It looks best big and set with generous space around it.
