About the family
Elderslim is an oldstyle serif stretched tall and squeezed narrow. The thin strokes are fine, the stems are strong, the bowls lean a little the old way and the head serifs are angled like pen marks. It looks like the title page of a good edition. The narrow build fits long titles into small spaces, and the three weights, Regular to SemiBold, all keep the same elegant proportions. It is at its best at display sizes, where the contrast has room to sparkle. Small text loses the hairlines and gets hard to read.
