About the family
Dornikbroad is a blackletter with its elbows out. It follows the rounder Schwabacher tradition, so curves stay curved instead of breaking into sharp angles, and the strokes are sturdy with little contrast. Capitals are broad and decorative, with the looping forms that make blackletter fun, while the lowercase is wide, heavy and easy to read for a gothic hand. Light, Regular and Medium build in weight from a firm line to a dense black. It feels warm, old and a little bit festive.
