About the family
Dabbercross is written with a chisel marker held at one angle, which is why the down strokes come out broad and the cross strokes thinner. The letters are tall and narrow with squared off ends, so it looks like a sign written quickly by someone who does it every day. Capitals and lowercase are both upright and separate, with a single storey a, a hooked j and a g that drops straight down. The figures are narrow and dark, good for prices. Light, Regular and Medium go from a worn marker to a fresh one. It fits a lot of words on a small card and still reads from across the shop.
