About the family
Cratebybroad is a wide poster sans with heavy slab stems and hairline horizontals, then cut up for stencilling. Clean white gaps sever each letter right where the thin lines meet the thick stems, so bowls hang free and every glyph falls into neat separate pieces. Terminals are flat and the counters are squared. The effect is part military crate, part fashion billboard. It comes in Regular and Medium, and both look best big enough for the gaps to show. Spray it on a wall, a box or a t-shirt and it looks like it was always meant to be there.
