About the family
Copplinslim is a tall, narrow roman with a lot of contrast. The thick strokes are firm, the thin ones are close to hairlines, and the serifs are fine, flat and sharp. Bowls are pinched into slim upright ovals, so a long word fits a narrow space and still looks unhurried. The Q swings a long tail, the g has a proper loop, and the figures are drawn as slanted pen numerals, which gives a date a handwritten touch. Four weights, Light to SemiBold, all keep the same slender posture. Give it room and plenty of size, and it looks like the front of a theatre programme.
