How it looks in use
Wintermere
A classic transitional book serif with moderate contrast, bracketed serifs and calm proportions.
Wintermere
About the family
Wintermere is a book face through and through. Contrast is moderate, the stress is close to vertical, and the serifs are flat with small curved brackets that join them to the stems. The lowercase is compact, with a classic double storey g and a sturdy a, and the capitals are well proportioned and calm. Light suits large display settings, Regular and Medium are comfortable for pages of text, and SemiBold and Bold give headings a firm voice. It does not show off, which is exactly why it reads so well.
