How it looks in use
Tuffetblade
Tall, swollen letters that pinch at the waist. Loud seventies poster energy in a narrow column.

About the family
Tuffetblade is narrow and heavy with a lot of movement in the stroke. Stems swell out and pinch in where they meet, terminals end in soft lumps, and the counters are cut down to thin curved slits. The figures are especially fat and round. It has the flared, groovy feel of an old record sleeve or a roller disco flyer, and it is only happy at display sizes. Set a paragraph in it and the slits vanish. Give it a short loud line, some room, and a strong colour behind it.
