About the family
Swoonthorn is an upright script with a strong thick and thin rhythm. Every downstroke swells into a bold shaded stroke, every upstroke drops back to a hairline, so a line of text sparkles like pointed pen lettering. It stands straight rather than leaning, and the letters sit apart instead of joining, which makes it tidier and easier to read than most brush scripts. The capitals have little ball ends and gentle curls. There are four weights from Light to SemiBold, and the heavier ones hold up well on printed labels and signs.
