Scrivenwell
A round uncial with broad-nib warmth, clean enough for a menu and old enough for a legend.

About the family
Scrivenwell is the uncial hand at its most comfortable. The letters are round and wide, the strokes swell and thin gently as a broad nib would make them, and the lowercase uses the old forms: a small round a, a d with a bowed back, an h with a curved shoulder, a t with a short curled top. The capitals are simply bigger versions of the same shapes, so everything feels like one hand. Ascenders and descenders are short and the counters are open, which keeps it readable for more than a single word. Regular, Medium and SemiBold give it enough range for both titles and short text.
