    How it looks in use

    Raspwell

    Books, reports and long articles

A sturdy, even serif for reading, with small sharp wedges on every stem to keep it lively.

Websites and newsletters that need a warm serif

    Raspwell

Headlines paired with its own lighter weights

    About the family

Raspwell is a working serif. The strokes are close to even, the letters are open and roomy, and the x-height is comfortable, so it settles into a steady grey on the page. What stops it from being plain is the serifs: small triangular wedges filed to a point, on the capitals and the lowercase alike. You notice them at headline size and feel them as crispness at reading size. The R has a straight leg, the A sits on a wide flat base. Five weights run from Light to Bold, which is enough to build a whole book or website from one family.
