A very tall, very narrow slab with heavy stems and hairline serifs, like a playbill from the gaslight days.

About the family
Platrelthorn is what happens when a slab serif stands up straight and holds its breath. The letters are squeezed into narrow columns, the stems are thick dark bars, and everything that runs sideways, from crossbars to the tops of bowls to the flat slab feet, thins down to a fine line. Round letters turn into pinched ovals and the m crowds its three legs close together. It comes in Light, Regular and Medium, and all three look best set big, where those thin lines can shine. A single word fills a tall space with a lot of drama and very little width.
