    About the family

Paverbroad is a wide, square alphabet assembled from little tiles with visible gaps between them. The main stems are a few tiles across, the crossbars are a single tile thick, and round letters are drawn as stepped staircases, so an O ends up a rounded box. Roofs and floors are flat, the letters are clearly extended, and the whole thing has the tidy look of a tiled station wall or a scoreboard. It comes in one weight, Regular. It stays clear at a surprising range of sizes because the shapes are so simple.
