About the family
Nimblecross is handwriting squeezed tall. The letters are narrow and upright with a small lean, written with a pointed brush so the downstrokes swell a little and the thin parts stay thin. Caps are tall and slim, the lowercase has long ascenders, a looping f and a g and j that drop well below the line, and every letter keeps its own space with no joins at all. Because it is so narrow it fits long phrases into short spaces. Four weights, Light to SemiBold, move from a pencil note to a thick marker. It looks like someone wrote it on the spot, and quickly.
