How it looks in use
Klakkothorn
Typewriter letters with a poster's appetite: heavy stems, hairline bars and thin bracketed slab serifs.
Klakkothorn
About the family
Klakkothorn starts from a typewriter face and adds contrast: the stems are heavy, the crossbars are thin, and the bracketed slab serifs are slim and tidy. The lowercase keeps typewriter habits like the curled r and the plain, open shapes, while the capitals are sturdy and wide enough for a headline. The figures are narrower and heavier than the letters, which gives numbers a little extra punch. Light, Regular and Medium are included. It looks at home on a letter, a poster or a label, anywhere a typed look should still feel dressed up.
