How it looks in use
Gothmarwick
A normal width fraktur drawn with a near even stroke, so the texture is a wiry lattice instead of a black wall.
Gothmarwick
About the family
Gothmarwick is fraktur without the heavy swell. The shapes are all there: bowls that are round on one side and angular on the other, forked tips on the tall letters, lozenge shaped feet, and capitals with their little curls. But the stroke stays close to one thickness, so a paragraph looks like a fine wire lattice rather than a slab of ink. It keeps a normal width and a tight rhythm. Light, Regular and Medium step up gently, with Light the most delicate. It suits anything that should feel old and a bit mysterious without becoming hard work to read.
