    About the family

Dabberblade is what you get when someone with a fat chisel marker writes a sign quickly and well. The letters lean a little to the right, the strokes swell where the tip was pressed and thin out at the turns, and the ends are soft and round rather than cut. Nothing joins: every letter stands apart, which keeps words clear even at a glance. The capitals are sturdy and slightly condensed, the a is single storey, and the figures have the same forward tilt. Light, Regular and Medium move from felt pen to full marker. It shares its hand with the Dabber family and it is the sharpest writer of the bunch, the one who fills in the specials board.
