About the family
Barrelmond is what happens when a didone eats too much. The thick strokes are enormous, the thin ones are true hairlines, and the counters shrink to slots and teardrops. Ball terminals sit at the ends of a, c, f and r like drops of ink. Letters run wide, so a short word fills a whole poster. Light and Regular are both very heavy; Light just gives the hairlines a little more room. This is a headline face and only that. At small sizes the hairlines vanish and the slots fill in, so keep it big and give it space.
